Leadership Laboratory (LLAB) is an integral part of the program that provides the opportunity for cadets to practice their officer skills and develop leadership and management techniques. LLAB centers on the Cadet Wing where activities are planned and conducted by cadets and supervised by detachment officers. LLAB builds esprit de corps within the cadet organization and provides opportunities for the cadets to learn and hone skills essential to their ability to serve as leaders in today’s Air Force. in such a laboratory, cadets can make errors and receive feedback on how they can improve without serious consequences. The following are some of the topics addressed: Air Force customs and courtesies, fitness and nutrition, field training orientation, and drill and ceremonies. Physical fitness training, which is held twice a week, is mandatory.
