BIO 444 - Molecular Biology

Prerequisite(s): BIO 322 or BIO 412 and CHE 226, CHE 228 or consent of the instructor.
This is an advanced course with emphasis on cytosolic membrane systems, protein trafficking, cell signaling, gene expression, and the effect of mutations on cellular activity, and an introduction to bioinformatics. Three hours of lecture per week. One three-hour laboratory per week (BIL 444).
