ENG 101 - College Composition I

This course offers a study in oral and written expression. In English 101, students review grammar, mechanics, and paragraph development and engage in vocabulary building. Students will write essays in a variety of rhetorical modes that allow students to think critically as they consider genre, audience, and purpose to communicate effectively. A grade of “C” is required for passing this course and advancing to ENG 102. ENG 101 cannot be taken simultaneously with ENG 102. Offered each semester.
