HIS 131 - World History I

HIS 131 is a survey course that explores the political, social, economic, and cultural factors that shaped the modern Western world. The course covers the origins of civilization, focusing on the ancient civilizations of Africa, Greece, and Rome, as well as key developments during the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Reformation. This course provides a foundational understanding of the early historical periods that influenced contemporary Western societies.  This course is offered once per year.
