The Department of Economics offers The Associate of Arts Degree in Business for high school students to earn college credits. The program is designed for the students who are selected to take college level classes while attending high school. Students must complete 66 hours with a “C” or above average. 30 hours are within the Business program and 36 hours are general education requirements. Critical Notes:
- Some students may be advised or required to pass developmental, precollege, non-degree credit course based on their ACT score. Credits earned from developmental courses will not count toward hours required for graduation.
- ENG 100, and MAT 091 are requirements for those students who demonstrate a need.
- Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all required general education courses.
- Students have the option to “test out” of modern languages at the elementary levels and earn credit toward graduation.
