CPF 111 - Fundamentals of Acting

Prerequisite(s): ENG 101, ENG 102 , COM 101, COM 111, & COM 112
This class will build the foundation for acting through exercises for physical awareness that complement the work of the voice and body. This class is an introductory acting technique course using scene study and improvisations (including rehearsal and performance). This course is designed to familiarize students with many voice, movement, and acting exercises and techniques that are necessary in developing the total instrument of the actor (performance study). Students will demonstrate scene work that explores the relationship between behavior and social justice.
