CAR 203 - Social Sculpture

Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 , ENG 102 , COM 101, COM 111, COM 112, CAR 221, & CAR 202
This studio-based course takes its name from artist Joseph Beuys a post WWII German artist. Social Sculpture is concerned with the generation of ideas and how these ideas connect to the social milieu of the times. Social Sculpture is interdisciplinary and cross media in scope. Students are charged with the creation of works that explore form and media using a range of modeling and construction methods.
